And, That's the Gospel (Galatians)
"And that's the gospel!" Those are the words that end every sermon Pastor Wright preaches at his home church. And no better words could describe the book of Galatians. "Gospel" literally means "good news." But good news that is tainted with bad news quickly becomes bondage. Freedom laced with law is no freedom at all. False teachers were deceiving the Galatian Christians with a mixed gospel, and Paul couldn't stand it. The good news of Jesus Christ is so urgent and so important that Paul seems to shout in the opening chapter of his letter to the Galatians: "There is no other gospel!"
Join us for an amazing journey of grace through a letter so revolutionary that it became the battle cry of the Reformation under Martin Luther and was dubbed the "Magna Carta of Christian Liberty." Experience the gospel in all its purity, power and passion. Discover freedom like never before. Jesus died for you and lives for you so that you can be free forever - and that's the gospel!
